←For this all-school reunion, instead of riding with their classes of 1957 and 1959, respectively, George Breidenbach (bowler hat) and Pat (Jacobsen) Breidenbach (gingham dress and bonnet) rode with sister-in-law Mary Jacobsen (and her 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren) on Pat's brother, Harlan's, wagon which he'd made years ago. The "JACOBSEN RANCH OF CASTLE ROCK, Three Generations, 1910-2010" parade entry was in recognition of the hundred-year-old ranch which Pat's grandfather, Henry Jacobsen, started homesteading in April 1910. Their entry won the trophy for the horse-drawn division. |
